Was quite the night

Started at 11 pm with a cop coming to our front door letting us know that there was a stand off next door and if we wanted to leave we could. Nope, not going anywhere,

6 hours later the guy finally gave in and came out, not sure what it was all about but pretty damn impressed with WPD and how they handled it.

Set up and blocked off the street, came to our door at about midnight asking if they could use our backyard to keep an eye on the back yard, then back to the door to ask if they could use our garage since it was pouring outside.

They keep trying to contact him with no response and finally set up their three SWAT trucks in the street facing the front of his house at around 5 and kept trying to get him to come out or at least talk to them on the phone.

Finally at 7:30 am he came out and gave himself up. Glad that they spent the time talking and not just rushing in, could have been a very different outcome.

Hope he gets the help he needs,
